yourself a case that will protect your cue from humidity.
Moisture
is one of the main causes of cue warping. Hard cases give
better protection than soft cases.
Store your case upright, not lying down. If it’s a soft case, hang it on a hook. Store your cue in a rack, if you have one. Never leave your cue in your vehicle. Remember, wood will warp, especially if it’s a long, thin piece (like a cue).
To clean
your cue, simply wipe down with a warm soapy damp cloth and
immediately wipe dry. Never use sand paper. To clean up the
shaft, use a dry green scour pad (found in your local grocery
store). Also, keep your hands clean.
